Meet The Team

Helen Morrell

Helen heads up Morrell Will Services and has done since 2021.
She has a passion for supporting and helping people (which explains her background in social services and the charity sector).
Helen understands the complexities of family life, and how difficult it can be to make decisions about the future, and she has a natural knack for making those conversations seem a little less heavy.
Before the move to Morrell Financial Management, Helen worked in organisational development for a national youth work charity.
It was here she honed her leadership and management skills, as well as the practical skills needed to ensure that the organisation grew sustainably, achieved its objectives and demonstrated its impact to funders, the Board and stakeholders – at the same time as having a whole lot of fun in the company of young people and volunteers!
Helen is your typical ‘good egg’. As well as balancing the running of Morrell Will Services with family life with Andrew, their daughter and their dog, Helen also volunteers as a Trustee on the Board of Pets As Therapy.
She is passionate about the local area and is the Chair of Shiney Row Business Association, supporting and working with other local businesses.
Helen understands the value of, and takes the time to really get to know, people.
Keen to offer work and business experience to a local young person, she has recently recruited a Business Admin Apprentice to work alongside her and the Morrell Financial Management team.
Outside of work, Helen is a serial crafter, dog agility enthusiast and recently tried her hand at stand-up comedy.

Andrew Morrell

Andrew is the Director of, Senior Financial Adviser and Chartered Financial Planner at Morrell Financial Management.
He works closely with Morrell Will Services to offer support in different capacities, such as supporting with Trust and Tax planning as well as giving advice on long term care fees.
Andrew has worked as a regulated Financial Adviser for over 26 years and opened Morrell Financial Management in 2012.
Being Independent, rather than choosing from a limited range of products, was so important to Andrew that he decided to set up his own practice when his previous employer decided to give Restricted rather than Independent financial advice.
Andrew is passionate about people, no matter their circumstances, being able to have access to good financial advice.
Emily Smith
Recently appointed to the role of Business Admin Apprentice, Emily supports both Morrell businesses.
Emily is the newest member of the Morrell Wills team!
She joined the team in March 2025 after an impressive interview where she gave thoughtful answers and aced the skills test.
In just a few weeks, Emily has already shown that she has initiative, tenacity and a positive work ethic.
Emily has already accompanied Helen to some client appointments so she can really get to know how the business operates and how her skills can support great client care.
Emily was already working hard before coming to work with the Morrell team, though in a takeaway rather than behind a desk. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym.
